Photography has been my life, having started as a teenager working for a third generation Family studio in Napier.  Along with my wife, Cath, and my two boys, we operate from the old red cross hall in Napier, which we reopened in 2011, as a gallery and cafe, celebrating photography and food, Photographers Gallery. 

For me, a great image is all about great expression.Sometimes it can be awkward to be in front of the camera, I know, and I can truly empathise with this! I work hard to put people at ease and really strive to get as much feeling and emotion into my images. I'm passionate about what I do, and I challenge myself constantly to keep my images and my business inspiring!

I've had tremendous support from my customers, I try to give back to my local community as much as I can, having been on numerous associations and supporting local schools and organisations. I believe in giving back, it’s a huge part of who I am and what I do.
